We’re walking for CARE Australia March 12-18

56 km … 70,000 steps per team member.

Women and girls make up 60 per cent of the 1.4 billion people currently living in poverty. Millions walk over six kilometres a day in search of food, water and firewood. This leaves little time for school, accessing health services and earning an income.

We are walking 10,000 steps per day for a week as part of CARE’s Walk In Her Shoes challenge, to show my support for women and girls in developing countries.
